BJP’s ‘silence on scam’ prompts KTR to accuse it of complicity with CM Reddy

With just two left for the completion of the first phase of membership drive, the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party ( BJP) has already claimed to have enrol over10 million new members .
State BJP president Bhupendra Singh Choudhary said here on Monday that said that BJP is an ideology- based party which goes among people with its ideas. He said within 18 days of the start of the membership campaign, the party has made one crore new members in UP. He said that to strengthen the party, membership campaign is being conducted at the booths.
The membership campaign was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on September 2. After the first phase campaign from September 2 to September 25, the second one will start from October 1 and end on October 15. ” Hardoi district stood first in the membership drive by registering 1,74,769 members while Amroha secured second position with 1,69,785 members. Lucknow is in third place, where 1,67,578 members were made. Similarly, Bulandshahr stood fourth and Kushinagar stood fifth.

At the same time, Agra Assembly stood first with the maximum number of 70,010 members while 53,585 members were made in Ayodhya Assembly and 47,660 members were made in Bakshi Ka Talab Assembly segment.
